CIP Volunteers Raise Money for “Both Hands”

Both Hands is an organization that ministers to widows and orphans; thus, the name, “Both Hands.” James 1:27 expresses their mission. It says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” The mission of this organization is in line with CIP’s mission, which is “Coating the construction industry with quality, excellence and integrity while empowering our employees and honoring Christ the Lord.”

CIP Volunteers Turned Out in Numbers

CIP had the privilege of partnering with the Both Hands organization to raise money for their ministry. On April 29, 2022, CIP volunteers gathered at the home of two widows (Annette and Betsy) to work on many projects.

It was a full day of work, including painting, landscaping, demolition, building, stump grinding, repairing, deck staining, and more. The CIP volunteers worked tirelessly, giving their time freely and joyfully. You can tell by the smiles on their faces in the photo above.

CIP extends a special thanks to the individuals who organized, planned and executed the event. They include:  Louis Davis, Tim Dotson, Josh Holman and ALL the volunteers that put in a hard day’s work!

Results Were Rewarding

Annette and Betsy express how thrilled they were with CIP’s volunteer turnout and with the beautiful results. The volunteers were proud of their work and the amount of money they raised. All the CIP volunteers asked for sponsorships for their work, and the CIP team raised over $5,000. This money helped fund another family’s adoption.

CIP was happy to minister to these two ladies and help the family longing to adopt an orphan.
